Astrology is what I consider our celestial blueprint – it’s a map of what we planned in our pre-mortal life. In Heaven, we made a plan, each of us made agreements with God; consciously you are not aware that these were pre-planned events called Soul Contracts (you can read more about this my book ANGELS ARE TALKING.) Your astrology chart is one method of looking at your blueprint or path during this lifetime. That being said I feel that Vedic Astrology is much more accurate than other types if you decide to have your chart read.
Mercury Retrograde is one of those astrology sayings that people like me mention 3 or 4 times a year. Let me explain, I’m not an astrologer, and rarely do I have anyone pull up my chart but the “Mercury Retrograde” period truly affects us. Don’t believe me: Mark the dates on your calendar, and then revisit it later.
Here’s the definition:
“Retrograde” means backwards; it’s a planetary optical illusion which in astrology, means that Mercury appears to be moving in the wrong direction; of course that that does not happen. Although it will seem like you take two steps forward then one step back. It can be like the Hamster Wheel Effect - - running and doing but unable to move forward and gain traction.
During a Mercury retrograde period, this negatively affects communications, causing miscommunications, contractual Issues, technology glitches, business and travel problems too. So it’s not a great time for beginning a new venture. For this reason I will tell my clients: Never Start a New Project, Schedule Surgery or Sign a Major Contract during this time because miscommunications can cause major snafus!! That’s not what you want in the Operating Room.
Now of course we cannot postpone our lives but this is a great time for planning. Put your action steps down on paper, what’s next, create a Vision Board and make a plan. Then you’ll be ready to take action as Mercury Retrograde rolls to its end.
Spirit said This Mercury Retrograde will be especially difficult. Astrologically I don’t know why although I can feel the effects already as we are in the Shadow of Mercury Retrograde, the phase when the energy is intensifying as the timeframe gets closer. Already in the office, our technology is goofing up – two days of Wifi issues and printer offline in between : { frustrating technical difficulties.

These are just spiritual tips because many people get frustrated when they are working hard to move forward yet things seem at a standstill. So when we are aware of the dates then we can make better use of our time OR at least SMILE as we roll though the temporary challenges!
